Country superstar Luke Bryan recently announced at the 2016 CMA Fest that he’s Teaming up with Chevrolet. This partnership couldn’t be a more natural fit for the farm boy from Georgia, and a brand that’s been a part of country music for generations.

“Chevy has been a part of our family and part of our work life on the farm as long as I can remember,” said Bryan. “If you were a Bryan, you drove a Chevy. I’m so excited about this partnership and I’m honored to be representing such a wonderful brand.”

With 15 number-one singles, 8 million albums, and 30 million digital tracks sold, Luke Bryan is undeniably one of the biggest stars in country music, and with more than 4 million cars and trucks sold every year, Chevy is now one of the world’s largest car brands—that’s a lot of star power.

Chevrolet is sponsoring, Luke Bryan’s 8th Annual Farm Tour, a multi-city tour in which Bryan sets up stages on farmland in rural areas across the country that normally wouldn’t have big concert events and performs for thousands of fans. The Farm Tour is more than just a concert series. A portion of the ticket sales are granted for local college scholarships, as part of the Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship, which benefits farming families in the communities where Luke plays. It’s one of a variety of projects Luke and Chevrolet are working on together—and the partnership is already making an impact surrounding the already successful relationship.

Earlier this year, Luke activated his impressive social media following to help Chevrolet use the extra 24 hours of Leap Day to #DayItForward. The campaign helped recognize the daily hard work and sacrifices of firefighters in Fire Station #2 in Franklin, Tennessee. It was a great example of the passion and loyalty of Luke’s fan base and the commitment of Chevrolet to support communities all across America. Paul Edwards, Chevrolet U.S. Vice President of Marketing, summed up the excitement.

“Our customers love country music, and Chevy has always held a special place in the genre. We’re extremely proud to build a relationship with an artist as authentic and talented as Luke,” said Edwards.

Bryan is performing in venues and stadiums across the U.S. on his “Kill The Lights Tour” through this Fall. So hop in your Chevy truck and be sure to see Luke perform his “real good, feel good stuff” when he comes to your town.
